The Boys & Girls Clubs of El Paso, in partnership with international wrestling star Cinta De Oro (formerly WWE’s Sin Cara), is proud to present an ongoing monthly lucha libre event series—a unique fusion of community and youth empowerment.
What began as one local wrestler’s journey through the Boys & Girls Club has come full circle. Cinta De Oro comes home, a proud native of Segundo Barrio and former Club kid, and he is now using his platform to give back to the very place that shaped him. Together with the Boys & Girls Club of El Paso, he is raising awareness and critical funding to benefit the youth of this historic neighborhood.
🚨 The first two events—held at the Boys & Girls Clubs of El Paso’s flagship location at 801 S. Florence—completely sold out. The third event is set for Saturday, May 24, 2025, and anticipation is already building. Wrestling fans can look forward to a special appearance and match by Cinta De Oro and a historic moment in the ring. For the first time ever in El Paso, the Women’s International Open Challenge World Championship title will be on the line as Miss Kath faces Sakura in a classic street fight.
This high-energy, family-friendly event isn’t just about entertainment—it’s about transforming lives. Proceeds directly benefit club programming, academic support, and vital repairs to the facility, which serves as a safe haven for over 1,400 children and teens across 12 sites in El Paso.
Event Highlights:
- Purpose: Fundraising to support youth programs, education, and facility needs
- Community Impact: Engaging underserved families in Segundo Barrio
- Audience: Local families, supporters, wrestling fans, and media
- Next Event: Saturday, May 24, 2025 | Doors at 5PM | Bell time at 6PM | 801 Florence
The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of El Paso is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
