The Las Cruces Police Department’s Traffic Unit issued 75 citations during a one-hour enforcement operation Thursday on Roadrunner Parkway.
The 75 citations included 40 for motorists exceeding the posted speed limit, 17 for drivers without proper registration and 14 for driving with no proof of insurance.
Other citations were for miscellaneous traffic violations.
The traffic enforcement operation was held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025, on Roadrunner Parkway near Veterans Park. The Las Cruces Police Department will likely hold similar traffic enforcement operations in the coming weeks.
