The Las Cruces Police Department will discuss school safety during the next Bridging the Badge livestream to be held July 15.
Las Cruces Public Schools begins its 2025-26 academic year July 25 for kindergarten, 6th and 9th grades. All other students begin fall classes on July 28.
Bridging the Badge will stream live on the City’s YouTube channel and on LCPD’s Facebook page beginning at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2025.
LCPD School Resource Officers will be featured and will discuss safety for students, parents and teachers. Questions for the livestream can be left in the comments on this post. LCPD has SROs in all middle and high schools within the district.
Bridging the Badge livestreams are intended to promote understanding, collaboration, and informed dialogue on topics important to residents of Las Cruces. Each livestream is anticipated to last about one hour.
