Mayor Eric Enriquez will present an official City of Las Cruces proclamation on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 4 p.m. at Ruby Tuesday Las Cruces, 2611 N. Telshor Blvd. The proclamation formally declares Sunday, May 10, 2026, as “Mother’s Day and Día de las Madres Las Cruces” The proclamation was made possible by a coalition of Las Cruces businesses that came together specifically to build a community-wide celebration for the mothers of the Mesilla Valley. The coalition includes Adams Radio Group of Las Cruces , Aura Nails Lounge, Ruby Tuesday Las Cruces, and Billy the Kid gift shop .As part of the celebration, the coalition is giving away five “Mom’s Perfect Day” gifts. The awarded Madres will be announced on Wednesday, May 6th.
